ABOUT ME
MORE ABOUT ME

I’m collaborative by default. I care deeply about creating environments where stakeholders feel seen and heard, because the best solutions don’t just look good on paper—they work in the real world.
Research meets real life—I help leaders and educators turn evidence into impact.
I’m Dr. Dustin Nadler—a psychologist, professor, speaker, and evaluator who helps organizations and learning communities make better decisions, build stronger cultures, and create change that actually sticks. I’m especially interested in the “why” behind performance: what drives engagement, what makes leadership effective, and what helps people learn and thrive in real-world settings
My work sits at the intersection of research and practice. I earned my Ph.D. in Applied Psychology from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, and I’ve built a career that blends teaching, applied research, and consulting. I currently serve as Associate Professor of Psychology and Associate Director of the Center for Access and Achievement at Maryville University, and I’ve also taught psychology at Washington University in St. Louis and Saint Louis University. In addition, I lead applied research through my role as Director of Applied Research Consultants (ARC) at SIU, where I partner with teams to answer hard questions with clarity and rigor.

Through my consulting work, I support schools, nonprofits, and organizations across sectors with program evaluation, culture and climate assessments, survey design, data analysis, and professional learning experiences (workshops and keynotes). Whether I’m evaluating a program, building a measurement strategy, or facilitating a leadership session, my goal is the same: turn meaningful information into practical action—in a way that fits your people, your context, and your mission.
